Also caring for his child is the biggest thing for couples. But some disease is dangerous and children affected by these diseases.(RSV)Respiratory Syncytial Virus is a common disease.RSV is estimate  to cause up to 1,60,000 death annually across globe.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus :

 The another name of (RSV) Respiratory Syncytial Virus  is Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus (HRSV) and Human Orthopneumovirus.It is a common disease causes infection on Respiraory tract. Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus is just cold, But small percentage,infection of RSV can lead to serious sometimes life-threatening problem such as pneumonia or bronchi0litis, an inflammation of the small airways of the lungs.Young babies easily affected by this disease.

"It is most common viral respiratory infection that causes hospitalization in young babies,"says Kathryn M. Edwards, MD,director of the Vanderbit Vaccine Research program.

This disease is more common in winter and spring season.RSV often occurs in yearly outbreaks in communities ,classroom, and childcare centers.As per Wikipedia RSV is single stranded, negative sense genome. There is approximately 15000 nucleotides in length. The gene order is NS1-NS2-N-P-M-SH-G-F-M2-L,with the NS1 and NS2 gene serving as nonstructural promoter genes.RSV is a medium size enveloped virus.

CAUSES:

• Prematurity
• Low Birth Weight
• Male sex
• Having older sibling
• Maternal smoking during pregnancy 
• History of atopy 
• No breastfeeding
• Household crowding
• Congenital heart or lung disease

SIGN AND SYMPTOMS :

Symtoms start about 2 to 5 days after contact with virus.the early stage in child is cold.In children whose age is more than 2 the illness may move into the lungs and causes coughing and wheezing.after it is convert in severe respiratory disease.Approximately 15-50% of children will  go on to developnmore serious lower respiratory tracts infections, such as brochiolitis, viral pneumonia or croup.

  PREVENTION :

RSV is prevented by breastfeeding to increase the immunity naturally and avoid taking children to crowded areas and visiting respiratory patients.

• Remove sticky nasal fluids with a bulb syringe and saline drops.

• Use non-aspirin fever-reducers such as acetaminophen.
